Linmerse Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By using Linmerse products and services you agree to these terms. If you do not accept any part of this agreement, discontinue use immediately.

2. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep it up to date. Safeguard your account credentials and assume responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. User-Generated Content and Copyright

Linmerse provides language-learning and content-processing tools. You are solely responsible for the audio, text, and other materials you upload, generate, or share. You confirm that you hold the rights necessary to use this content and that it does not infringe third-party copyrights, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other legal interests.

You retain ownership of your content, including derivative outputs (such as transcripts, translations, subtitles, or notes). To operate the service, maintain security, and improve features, you grant Linmerse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence—with the right to sublicense to service providers as needed—to store, process, transform, analyse, and display the content. We will not sell your content or use it for unauthorised commercial promotion.

When you delete content or close your account we stop displaying and personalising it. Backups retained to comply with legal duties, resolve disputes, or maintain disaster recovery may persist for a limited period. Anonymised or aggregated outputs (such as models or metrics) belong to Linmerse and do not identify you.

We reserve the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to content if we receive a valid infringement complaint or reasonably suspect unlawful material.

4. Audio and Asset Storage

Upload and storage features are intended for learning and creative purposes. Linmerse does not proactively review or edit user materials and cannot guarantee their legality. We will cooperate with lawful requests concerning disputes but assume no liability for user-provided content.

5. Free Plan and Limits

Free accounts include limited storage, transcription minutes, and other resources, as published on the site or communicated separately. We may adjust these limits over time and may restrict or remove content that exceeds them.

6. Data Retention and Account Cleanup

To maintain performance we periodically clean up free accounts that exceed limits or remain inactive for an extended period. We will notify you via in-product messages or email when feasible; if you take no action by the stated date we may delete the associated data.

7. Limitation of Liability

Linmerse is provided “as is.” We are not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from user content. Third parties remain responsible for their own content, services, or tools. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or data loss.

8. Service Changes or Termination

We may update, improve, or discontinue features as needed, and will provide notice when practical. If you breach these terms we may immediately suspend or terminate your access and delete related data.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated versions take effect when published on this page. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the changes.
